From the Art Series Intimidade

A woman lying peacefully, her body exposed, while a man gently places a golden crown upon her. A gesture of intimacy, honour, and respect.

Intimidade III is a continuation of a story that began many years ago, with my artwork Take It All, from the series It’s Not What You Wear, It’s How You Wear It.

Back then, the crown represented a woman who was broken, carrying the weight of her experiences and everything she had been through.

Years later, the crown appeared again in The Innocent but Crowned, reflecting a woman who had grown, rediscovered herself, and embraced the respect and dignity that had always belonged to her.

But the story didn’t end there.

In Intimidade III, the crown returns once more, this time through an intimate gesture between a man and a woman.

It is no longer just about recognising your own worth, but also about experiencing that recognition through another person.

The woman already carries her dignity, confidence, and self-respect within herself. The man does not give her these qualities. Through his gesture, he simply acknowledges and honours what is already there.

It is a reflection on a different kind of intimacy. One in which you feel truly seen, valued, and respected, not only for your body or physical beauty, but for everything you are, inside and out.

And just as in life, this story continues to evolve.
